The Best Clothes to Wear for Snowblowing
Snow can be quite a hassle in the lives of suburban families who are compelled to clear out the snow on their properties if they want to walk on the sidewalk or take their car out of the driveway. This neighborhood woke up one morning with over 1 =0 inches of snow and everyone had to clear the snow in the morning. However, one neighbor decided to make things interesting with a bright pink unicorn outfit.
Besides being funny and probably bringing a smile to the faces of everyone else in the neighborhood, that outfit also probably kept them pretty warm in the cold weather.
Making Friends With the Neighbor's Dog
If you are a dog lover, then there is probably nothing more exciting than having a new neighbor move in with dogs. Maybe you can't have a dog of your own, but you love them and this is the closest you will get to having your own little pet. This person seems pretty thrilled that their new neighbor has a few dogs and the dogs seem to be pretty excited about their new neighbors as well.
You can't deny that that is one very cute dog, however, you can also tell that the dog is probably a bit of a scallywag based on his cute facial expression.
Office Building Neighborly Post-It War
If you have ever worked in an office building, then it is probably not news to you that office buildings can get a little competitive. No one is quite sure just how this post-it war started, but things seemed to have gotten a little out of hand as time progressed. As you can see, this office building won the post-it war, hands down, you could say, as they managed to create a photo of a mic drop out of post-its.
You can only hope that they started to use larger pieces of paper at some point as that would have taken up A LOT of post-its if they were the only source of color in this mural.
The Jurisdiction of Silly Walks
There is nothing like someone who has a good sense of humor. These people seemed to think that most people in the world just need a nice laugh every once and a while. That is partially why they chose to set up this sign outside of their yard which "requires" the people who are passing by to do a funny walk. It reads "You have now entered the jurisdiction of the ministry of silly walks. Commence silly walking immediately."
You can see that at least one person took this sign pretty seriously and made sure to commence his silly walk directly upon seeing the sign.
Marge Simpson in the Yard
There isn't a chance in the world that someone would walk outside of their house and see this installation and not think that it was pretty funny. There is almost no way that it wouldn't put a smile on the face of the owners of the house. After all, that bunch of flowers was just perfect for Marge Simpson, it would have been quite sad not to see her face added to them.
It almost looks like it was taken directly out of the cartoon itself. It is a pretty great piece of artwork and hopefully the neighbors appreciated it.
When You Question if Your Neighbors Are the Justice League
Just walking into the hallway of this apartment complex and you will probably see right away that this is an interesting floor. Either these people are all friends or just all the superhero lovers ended up living right next to each other in these apartments. Or maybe this started out as a rivalry as one person put out Superman and then the neighbor likes Batman more and the other neighbor likes Wonder Woman.
Either way, you have to appreciate the effort that went into creating this "Justice League" of the apartment building. They are probably making a lot of people snicker.
Just a Few Holes Are Needed for the Dog to See the Outside World
Although fenced yards are great for people who have animals. They can allow them to roam free, but they also don't have to worry about their pet running away and disappearing forever. However, the downside is that usually your pet cannot see the outside world very well and relies on peering through small slits in the fencing. This person created a solution for that exact issue by cutting personalized holes in the fence for his dog.
It is so cute that the owner thought to do this but also that the dog immediately understood why the holes were there and utilized them. The holes are probably pretty baffling to passerbys though if the dog isn't outside.
When Your Neighbors Create a Snow Fort
There is nothing quite like the feeling of creating a blanket fort inside of your house and cozying up and playing games underneath. This family seemed to take that feeling to the next level by creating a snow fort around their house. Instead of making a simple snowman or an igloo, they created an intense wall that looked like it could be fortified and surrounded their entire house and yard.
You have to be impressed with their efforts and their patience. That had to take a very long time to create considering they also made it look like an old fashioned castle wall.
Don't Get the Neighbor's Cat Addicted to Smoking
It seems like this neighbor got sick and tired of putting up signs for people not to drop their cigarette butts in their yard for them mostly to go unheeded. They thought it was time to get creative and do something about the cigarette butt problem. That is why they created this comical sign that reads "Please do not drop cigarette butts on the ground. The cat crawls out at night to smoke them and we are trying to get him to quit".
They really sealed the deal with the comical aspect of this by placing the menacing photo of the cat at the top of the words.
Grass Is Loading
One of the worst things in tightly knit communities is also what is the best about them. People care about each other but they also care too much, and sometimes about silly things. This person wanted to make sure that everyone in the neighborhood knew and understood that the grass would not stay looking like this forever so they shared the news with them that the "new grass is loading" is a pretty comical way.
Even if the neighbors wouldn't get upset at the unattractive sight, it is pretty funny to see someone with such a good sense of humor. They even used the most dreaded version of the "loading" sign from the old computers.
The Best Type of Leader for the Country
In a time when there are an unprecendented amount of people in the world who are leading some of the world's largest countries and are not capable of doing so well, it seems that it really might be a good idea to vote for this person's dog in the next election. After all, who doesn't love Golden Retrievers? They are cute and cuddly and loved by all. Who better to vote for?
Lily in particular seems like a very lovely dog. With a name like Lily Belle, it would seem as if she was just born for a life politics.

Well, this is probably the last thing you want to see in a neighborhood and you can only hope that no realtors were having a showing of a house in this part of town when someone in the neighborhood decided to do this. After all, anyone who has seen the movie It can relate that this is a pretty terrifying thing to see. Some people might even be terrified just at the comical sight of it.
You have to admit that this is a pretty funny prank to play on someone who just went to go and see the movie. Hopefully, they thought it was funny and didn't have nightmares.
Getting Creative With the Mailbox
Is there any reason that almost everyone across the world has essentially the same style of mailbox? After all, why does everyone think that they have to do the same thing? This person chose to think outside of the box and they went pretty wild in the process. Instead of just painting the mailbox or adding some embellishments, they chose to make an entire statue of a dragon surrounding it.
It even looks like the dragon is holding the mailbox like it is precious materials or goods. The mailman might even be a little scared to approach the mailbox. But maybe that is the point. They don't want to receive mail (which is mostly bills).
Taking Pet Sitting Very Seriously
It's nice when you can be friends with your neighbors. Besides the obvious benefits of having friends who live close by, it is also great because you can have people who live nearby check on your house or your pets while you are away. This person asked their neighbor to check in on their dog while they were traveling and he went above and beyond the call of duty, with photos to prove it.
He took plenty of photos with him and the cat, but he also took plenty of photos with him and just about everything else in the house.
When the High Pitched Scream Was Just a Pig
It is pretty nice to be able to sign up for an app like Nextdoor so that you can get to know the people in your neighborhood while also making sure that everyone stays safe in the process. Most people use the app to update the people in the community about important events, electric outages, and any potential threats. This person posted because they wanted to share an update about a loud, high pitched "scream" that could have been heard.
The "scream" that everyone in the neighborhood could have heard actually came from a pig that they were pet sitting for a friend when he got his head stuck in between the washing matching and the wall in an attempt to get some food. At least the pig is fine, no need for alarm.
Getting Bad News in a Funny Way
If someone is going to be the bearer of bad news, then it would make sense for them to try to present it in a way that would make the receiver laugh a little bit as well. Stephen tried to do just that when he wrote this letter to his neighbor informing him of an unfortunate event of the trash collectors destroying the trash cans. Hopefully the humor lightened the blow.
They seem to take their trash cans pretty seriously in this neighborhood if they have CCTV cameras watching them at all times. But it looks like it was also necessary, so it came in handy!
Be Warned of the Cat
You have probably seen plenty of signs outside of someone's house warning passersby and potential guests about a particularly vicious or fierce guard dog, however, you probably have not seen quite as many similar signs with a cat. There is a first time for everything though and you can see that this family wants to warn the world of their "shady" cat who steals things like leather gloves from strangers.
Their only warning is not to make eye contact with the cat. And just by looking at the cat in the photos, it makes sense that you might not want to.
A Robot for a Mailbox
It seems that everyone needs to take notes here, especially when it comes to parents. If you are planning to have your child try out a new hobby of attempting to build a robot (or maybe you want to try this out yourself), even if it fails, you can still use the robot as a mailbox. This family has quite the display outside of their house and the whole neighborhood appreciates the creativity.
It sort of looks like a cross between an armadillo, a robot, and a dog. And someone it is cute and funny at the same time. But it is definitely creative, if nothing else.
Yell Ding Dong Instead of a Door Bell
While you might think that the normal thing to do if you arrive at someone's house and the doorbell is not working would be to knock, it seems like this family has different preferences. They would prefer if their guest yelled "ding dong" very loudly instead of knocking, as their doorbell is broken for the time being. They even put up a sign so that everyone could see and follow the instructions.
How many people do you think actually followed these rules and yelled "ding dong" instead of knocking on the door? They need to make a compilation.
Making Artwork Out of a Tree
Although you probably thought that there is probably nothing artistic or pretty that can be done with a tree stump, this person has proved you wrong. A large tree was removed from their front yard and instead of just allowing there to be a massive tree stump in front of their house, they decided to make it into something else entirely. They built up this hand on top of the stump.
They probably really like to rock and roll and that is why they made the tree into this shape in particular.
Woodpecker Versus Neighbor
When someone is forced to battle against a woodpecker, it is pretty clear who the winner will be. Although the human may try their absolute best, the woodpecker will almost always be the winner because they do not care about the damage that they cause. This person was desperately trying to protect their barn, but the woodpecker had other plans and there was little that could be done about it.
It looks like they did try their absolute best to keep the woodpecker away and to block his entry paths, but he constantly tried again and again.
Plank War Between an 80 Year Old and a 75 Year Old
Well, this is probably not something that you thought you would ever see in your lifetime. This 80 year old friend came over to visit their friend's home. And then their 75 year old neighbor stopped by for a visit. They both decided that they were extremely physically fit and they wanted to prove to each other that they both were and they also wanted to prove who was better.
As a result, they started a plank war. You can't deny that this is pretty impressive (for people of any age) but especially for people in this age bracket.
They Will Be Back
This person was living in a neighborhood where they were demolishing one of the houses on their block. They didn't know the people who lived in the house and it was uninhabited for a pretty long time. When the workers were pretty much done with the demolition, they decided to set up this as if to say "I'll be back". Anyone who passed by was sure to appreciate the joke.
It takes someone with a very specific sense of humor to actually go out and make this jokei nto a reality.
Slow Down for the Stupid Cats
If there was ever a sign to make you want to do something, this would probably be it. It seems like people didn't care too much about the signs warning that there were children crossing or with speed limits written. That is why this person decided to take things into her own hands. She didn't want anything to happen to her cats and so she decided to put up this sign.
At first, all you see is "Please Slow Down", only after a moment do you see the fine print where it is written, "my cats are stupid".
Halloween Decorations in the Summer
When you really think about it, it does seem like a shame that people buy expensive Halloween decorations that they use only in the month of October. After all, they could really be quite multi-purposed if people chose to get a little creative with it. This family decided to do just that and chose to use their Halloween decorations in the summertime and put them on display with floaties and beach balls.
It is pretty creative and it probably put a smile on quite a few people's faces. It is certainly one of a kind.
Trimming the Hedges Into a Whale
Just when you think you have seen in all in the world of hedges, there is someone left out there waiting to surprise you. This person had a long hedge and bush area between their house and the neighbor's house. Instead of just shaping them like normal people would, in a square or a rectangle shape, they decided to make them into the shape of a whale, complete with a face and blowhole.
They did a pretty good job at this, to say the least. It is very realistic and it actually looks like a piece of art.
When Your Neighbor Is Inspector Gadget
It's funny because the trench coat is, on the one hand, a very common and normal and on the other, they are one of the most mysterious garments. They are used endlessly in movies to portray a provocative woman and also endlessly in spy films and movies like Inspector Gadget. It's interesting that they can be so versatile, but it is also funny at the same time whenever you see someone wearing one.
Trench coats are pretty functional at the end of the day, so it's funny that it's so funny to see someone wearing one.
Don't Tell Your Neighbor That You Hate Snowmen
There are some people in the world where the worst thing that you could possibly do would be to tell them that you are scared of something. By doing that, they will do everything in their power to prank you with that fear. That is what this neighbor did when they were told that their neighbor didn't like snowmen. Instead of just building a normal snowman, they created the snowman from hell outside their house.
Even people who normally like snowmen are bound to be pretty scared of an installation like this one outside of their house.
Neighborly Trolling for Driving Through a Wall
Ok now this neighbor seems to just be a pretty comical person all around. After all, they realized (and maybe even watched) as their neighbor drove through a brick wall. While the circumstances behind this unfortunate incident are not known or clear, there is a very low chance that they will not be made fun of for such a big mistake. This neighbor took full advantage of the situation and placed a photo of the Kool-Aid guy over the point of impact.
The Kool-Aid guy was known for running directly into walls and so this could not be a more fitting joke. The hole in the brick wall literally looks like it is out of the cartoon.
Turning Joy to Oy
It looks like someone has an issue with thievery in their neighborhood of holiday decorations. This sign went from Joy to Oy very quickly, just by someone who stole the "J". It's a pretty odd thing to steal though. Where do you even hide it and what do you do with it? Maybe it was a prank that they played each year on each other to see who can steal the better holiday decoration.
This was probably the winning prank if that is the game they were trying to play in the neighborhood. Maybe everyone participated and these were the winners. They turned Joy into Oy.
Making a Sexy Snowman
Considering the fact that snowmen can be just about anything that you chose to make them, it's surprising that people tend to keep them pretty G-rated. However, things went down a little differently in this neighborhood and someone decided to make a PG or PG-13 version of the classic snowman for everyone's enjoyment. They even gave him a thong like garment to wear towards the bottom to make him look more sexy.
Now they just need to make the matching version for him so that there can be a couple of sexy snowmen in the neighborhood. Maybe there will be a love story in the future between the sexy snowmen.
Over 1,000 Plastic Dinosaurs in the Front Yard
What would you do if you came home from work one day and all of a sudden you saw that your neighbor decided to place over 1,000 plastic dinosaurs in the yard? Firstly, you would probably be confused as to where he found that many dinosaurs and wonder if he had a collection. And secondly, you would probably be asking yourself (and wanting to ask him) why he would want to do that.
You have to appreciate the effort. Even though it seems like it probably wouldn't last a very long time as people would probably start stealing them slowly at night.

Have you ever wondered if your dog just dreams about what life is like beyond the walls of your house? Of course, they probably are taken on regular walks, but maybe they wonder what it would be like to see above the walls. This dog owner decided to give their dog a glimpse of what it looks like by holding them high up in the air and giving them a little peak.
It's hard to tell if the dog is excited about this opportunity, scared, or just enjoying taking in all the sights. Maybe it is a combination of all of the above.

Some people really got into the theme of the mask wearing life even long after the pandemic and its threat had passed. It looks like this person held onto the mask life just so that they could almost make a joke out of it with the help of their hedges. They created a massive mask-wearing hedge with eyeballs and everything. It was just keeping watch on the whole neighborhood.
It's a pretty clever thing, you have to admit. Some people probably got offended thinking it was making fun of mask-wearers, but it is a piece of art.

Have you ever wanted to repaint your house but was scared of what your neighbors might think of the color and how it would affect the appearance of the overall neighborhood? Well, this person definitely seemed to be a bit concerned and that is why they chose to do this. Instead of just picking a color, they asked for a poll from the neighbors of which color they thought would be best.
They even put a few samples on the house itself so that people could get an idea of what it would look like.

What is the strangest thing that you have ever seen one of your neighbors do? Whatever it was, it is unlikely that it was as odd as this. This woman spotted her neighbor just resting in her garden with her cat. While that in and of itself doesn't seem too strange, just add to that that she is wearing a hot dog costume. Is it Halloween or is she just wearing it for fun?

Have you ever wondered what you might do when you reach retirement? Will you adopt a thousand dogs and cats and just live with the animals for the rest of your days? It must be prety sad to thin that some people are just such bad fishermen that they have to blame their boat when they are not able to catch any fish. It is pretty funny when you think about it though.
Well they certainly won't be finding any fish if they are on still ground and not in the water.
Support the Neighborhood Small Business
It is very important to start children off young in the process of learning about businesses and how to make money. In this neighborhood, someone's child decided to make homemade brooms and go door to door to try to sell them for $2 apiece. As you can see, he was fairly successful, even if the purchases were more out of pity than anything else. He did offer a demonstration on the effectiveness!
